City: Lenexa
Serial Number: 278xxx
Bore: .468"
Alloy: Yellow Brass
Bell: Detachable
Lacquer: Very good, some normal wear
Case: New ProTec ProPac
Condition: Excellent
Other Details: This Holton 278 has just been professionally cleaned and mechanically adjusted, so it's ready to play! It plays great from top to bottom, and the valves are super fast and quiet.

Cosmetically, there is some normal lacquer wear in the grip area and on the bell throat. Elsewhere, there are a few very minor dings and scratches (mostly on the flare), but overall its in very nice condition.

Holton's 278 features a yellow brass alloy and medium bell throat, making it more similar in sound to the Geyer style horns that have become so popular. Additionally, this makes it a great horn for a smaller student, or someone who doesn't have quite enough air to power a larger horn.
