I have an Alex 310 triple for sale on the site. I had a request for more pictures and a keen expression of interest from a supposedly-American buyer, working in the oil industry in New Zealand. His name, remember it, was HEDLEY DUBOSKI.
His aim was fraudulently to get sellers to pay his agent to collect the horn from you to sent to his father. You received an email purporting to be from Paypal, saying the money awaiting your confirmation. THIS WAS A SCAM, as Paypal confirmed to me. They never operate in this manner.
Do not under any circumstances be tempted to pay anyone anything to seal a deal, as all you will do is lose your money. I did not fall for this, but some more innocent and trusting sellers might, as it all looked OK at the start.
Money in account first, horn dispatched second - always!
