I recently tried out some old Giardinelli two-piece mouthpieces that belong to my horn teacher and I really enjoyed them and how they play. I went online to see if I could find them, but it was rather difficult. I'm not sure if they stopped making them, does anyone know? I did find them however on one site and the store does have them in stock and would be interested in buying one, but I guess I am just a little cautious since I can't find them anywhere else. Thanks!

I don't think they make them anymore; I went through this a few years ago and ended up buying a used one since the one I ordered from Giardinelli's website was one piece. If you can't find a used one, you may want to check out osmun.com. They have quite a bit of customization and some of them are compatible with the Giardinelli cups/rims. Hope this helps!

I have a vintage screw rim Giardinelli mouthpiece with J. S. stamped on the cup. I have not been able to find out what the J. S. indicates. Some people on the Horn People website have suggested what it might be, but no one knows for sure. Any thoughts?
