Has anyone else been getting inquiries from foreigners visiting their country who want several long (too long) lessons per week for a beginner, sounding very insistent that you send them advance information on charges? They don't seem to care much about anything else but payment. Scam? What's the angle?

Yes. I received on of them. Things seemed pretty normal until they wanted to send me a check for payment for lessons with extra for an escort for their children (twin daughters). At that point I realized it was a scam. My mom has received many emails with that kind of request and all of them were scams. I just deleted all contact with the email address.

Thanks -- neither of them has gotten that far. They just seemed hinky.
