Ambronze body. Yellow Brass bell flare.

I've tried a lot of descant horns, and I think Lawson really nailed the design on this one. Separate tapers for Bb and high F sides, independent tuning on the high F side means no need for a tuning bit (a big plus!). The horn has a fantastic, rich, powerful sound on the low end, and doesn't lose its characteristic timbre on the high end.

I've gotten a good amount of use out of this horn this season. Recently carried me through Horn 1 on the Bach Christmas Oratorio and was a real life saver for that part.

The horn is in great condition. Bit of lacquer wear is the only blemish. Valves are in fantastic shape.
