Other Details: Since Medlin horns are very rare to find, I wanted to post an ad and ask for serious offers. This horn is one of Jacob Medlin's earlier horns, made with the larger valve cluster. It's fitted with a Clebsch Strap, a Joykey on the leadpipe and F branch, and an Amado water key on the leadpipe that I didn't have taken off when I had my Joykeys put on. You can see the signs of wear in the pictures, including a few dings that I'll have worked out before selling. You can hear it played live on a recent student recital of mine here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL24mMKNx8mgwfki_zb3OfKJbWoc9PFR65
The horn plays very well and is even throughout the range. Jacob's craftsmanship shines through when you feel the resonance of the horn in your hands as you play it, you can feel how the horn is working with you to add its color and vibrancy to the tone you put into it.
