Other Details: I've played this horn professionally since buying it from Paxman's seven or eight months ago. Prior to me it was owned by one of the Principal Horns of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

I've used a number of Paxman horns over the years and I can say with absolute honesty that this is a particularly fine example of the 20M.

Condition - lacquer is about 98%. There's a little wear in the usual places and around the finger hook, where it had been adjusted, and around the leadpipe stays (Please note the current pictures show the horn fitted with a Lanstro pipe. The original pipe has now been refitted). The screw bell is a post-purchase conversion done by Luke Woodhead, and is the neatest job I've ever seen. There are a couple of pinprick dings only.

Valve compression is excellent.

This horn has the titanium valve rotors that are no longer offered on new Paxmans due to their high cost.

I am selling for the simple reason that I have decided to go back to using a Paxman 20L.
