Other Details: Pro Horn player/ teacher is selling a wonderful Holton Farkas model, H179, double French Horn made of nickel silver. This horn is in very good working and playing condition! The valves are smooth and quiet and all slides move easily. A nice horn from the early 90's. It has had no previous damage repairs. It has been cleaned and I just replaced the valve strings. Cosmetically, there are some minor scratches on the outer bell branch, as well as a handful of bee-bee sized dings mostly on the bell. The lacquer is very good with little wear. The capabilities of this Holton H179 are endless!! First of all, the tone is gorgeous. It is perfect-- not too dark, with sparkling, bright overtones. The range is excellent, and high notes speak easily due to proper centering and great pitch. The sound is steady and even all throughout the registers. This H179 would be most beneficial for 7th grade thru college. Hard case and Holton mouthpiece included. This Holton is ready to play! *100% SATISFACTION GUARANTEE! Great deal
Extras: Holton hard shell case;
sterilized Holton mouthpiece
