Serial Number: N/A

Other Details: This is a spectacular horn from the 1950s previously owned and played by William Vermeulen. He acquired it from the family of an Austrian horn player and had Ron Pinc in Chicago rebuild the valves and main branch. The bell is original (lacquered). It has an even, fluid range and nice warm sound with easy low and high registers. Very responsive and plays with a lot of colors! I purchased the horn in 2013 from one of Vermeulen’s former students and have played it professionally for 4 years. In November 2017 it was professionally cleaned by Randy Mueller. Asking $7,500 or best offer - I am currently in the DC area, feel free to contact me for more information/set up a trial. Thanks!
Extras: Merlot nylon MB 1 case available.
