Name: Clinton Webb
City: Toledo
State: Ohio
Country: United States
Serial Number: NA
Bell: Fixed
Lacquer: N
Case: Y
Condition: Excellent
Other Details: This is an excellent vintage Alexander 103. The horn is in fantastic condition, valve compression is quite good for its age, and it does not appear to have ever suffered any significant damage. No patches, no thin spots. It plays quite well; I’ve played a number of older 103s, and this is a good one.

The horn of course has no serial number, but based on comparisons to other older 103s, I would surmise it to be no newer than the 1960s. It is marked “ZRH”, presumably from a previous owner.

Offering for sale because, while it’s a ton of fun to have around, it’s not my main horn, and I could use the money more than the horn at this point in my life.

I have the original case, should you want it, but these old Alex cases have basically no padding at all and I wouldn’t use it for anything other than stationary storage.
