Now in their 237th year in Mainz, Germany, Alexander produces some of the world's finest French horns.

We sold this one, new, about a dozen years ago. The owner is an adult amateur who's not used it for several years.

Important to note that his model is GOLD-BRASS, not YELLOW-BRASS. Gold is 10% more expensive, has a slightly more mellow voice, refined, perfect for Brahms or Schumann.

Our shop has removed two tiny dents, which are nearly invisible now. Valves, slides, lacquer finish are all in superb condition and the horn is clean, fully serviced, and ready to play

WITH original Alex case and two Alexander mouthpieces.

**** Had a look this morning at Alexander’s price list, noted that this horn has a retail price in Germany of 9220 Euros. At today’s Bank of America rate, that’s $10,741. Plus import duty. If we were to sell a new one, the USA price would be about $9500.

Special Horn Society price of $6250.
Extras: 2-year service warranty, 2 Alexander mouthpieces
