Name: Michael B.
City: Boston
State: MA
Country: USA
Alloy: Yellow Brass
Bell: Fixed
Lacquer: No
Condition: Excellent
Other Details: Beautiful Reynolds Chambers model double in Yellow Brass. Everything about the horn is in excellent shape. Tight valves, no patches or weak points. Recently given a cleaning, new bumpers and strings and minor dent work. This is one of the earliest Chambers horns ever made and its uncommon to find one in such nice shape. Also has a custom thumb lever installed which improves the ergonomics of the horn substantially.

If you've never played one, you're in for a treat. It has a warm, smooth tone, and doesn't feel the way you'd expect a large bell horn to feel. The bell profile is a bit different than an 8D or a Kruspe and hugs the hand comfortably. I think this is a great horn for someone looking for something in-between a Geyer-style instrument and the old big-bell Kruspe style horns.
