This is an Elkhart “M” series closet find in amazing condition. All original except for the addition of a water key and replacement of the finger hook with an Alexander adjustable hook. Valves were never replated and compression is excellent, virtually as new. The horn was recently ultrasonically cleaned and all slides adjusted to fit perfectly. It has a few minor dings as expected of a 54 year old horn, but nothing major. I do not believe it has ever had any dent removal done. If it has, I can’t find any scaring. The lacquer is nearly 100% perfect. The original case is functionally very good and can continue to be used, but cosmetically it isn’t the most attractive. I have a brand new Protec ProPac case I can substitute if desired for what it cost me-$200. Local trials only please, insured shipping available at buyer’s expense.
