Philip Farkas’s Personal Horn for Sale
 
This unique 1964 Frank Holton Model LB-77 horn was made in Elkhorn, Wisconsin for my mentor and teacher, Philip Farkas, the former Solo Horn of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Boston Symphony and Cleveland Orchestra. The LB-77 is a forerunner to the Holton LB77NS which later became the Holton H179.
 

1964, Frank Holton Model LB77, Serial # 375975   

Purchased directly from my teacher Philip Farkas in 1980.

Bore .468, Alloy: Nickel Silver, Fixed bell, Medium Throat, Clear Lacquer Finish is worn

Water keys on leadpipe and 3rd B flat valve slide.  Paxman hard shell black case.  

Played Professionally.  Condition: Excellent
