Master of Music (Performance) from the University of Michigan. Bachelor of Music (Performance) and the prestigious Performer's Certificate from the Eastman School of Music.
Teaching Experience
Horn Faculty at Nazareth College since 2016. I teach Applied Horn to all Majors and Non Majors, Direct the Nazareth College Horn Choir, teach Horn Repertoire and Pedagogy Classes, supervise students teaching Community Music School Horn students, and teach the Horn Methods course to Music Education Majors. I perform with the Faculty Brass quintet, Wilmot Brass and I perform with the faculty woodwind quintet Wilmot Winds.
Horn faculty at Houghton College since 2015, teaching Applied Horn to all Majors and Non Majors, and teaching the Brass Studio Class.
Horn faculty at the Hochstein School of Music since 2004. My students consistantly receive top scores at NYSSMA, and place well at the All County, Area All State, and Conference All State festivals; they also win auditions for the top spots in HYSO and RPYO. I teach all ages and abilities, from very young beginners to adults learning for the first time (or coming back to the horn after many years). I also serve as the Brass Chamber Music Coach for the Hochstein School, coaching student brass quintets.

Recent performances include XXI's 'Live from Hochstein' live radio broadcast series, Hochstein's 'Spotlight on Faculty' series, 'Hochstein at High Falls' series, 'Moonlight Stroll at Sonnenberg Gardens' series, SUNY Brockport's Fine Arts series, the Atrium series at the University of Rochester, and Principal Horn of the Greater Rochester Women's Philharmonic. Active freelancer all over the greater Rochester area.
