I have over 10+ years of teaching experience. I taught band through the Canadian Cadet system for several years, and have taught in schools and privately over the last decade. I am currently an IMI-Band Teacher for the Toronto District School Board. I have worked with/taught very young children from infant/toddler ages-18 years of age and adults. Teaching and performing go hand in hand for me as I truly enjoy both. I have experience in audition prep, RCM prep and can also help students that need to catch up in school/keep up. Lessons are always helpful at any age/stage. Even I take lessons, currently I am studying with Joan Watson (Principal horn of the Canadian Opera Company).

I have been performing since I was very young. I am currently principal horn and section horn in/of several ensembles around the city of Toronto/GTA. These include: Queen's Own Rifles of Canada Regimental Band (reserve military band), Northdale Concert Band, North York Concert Band, Greater Toronto Philharmonic Orchestra, Silverthorn Symphonic Winds, Etobicoke Community Concert Band, Magnus Brass Quintet, N/A Brass Quintet, 'To Be Named' Woodwind Quintet. I have performed for many functions including ceremonies & dinners for many high officials/dignitaries & Royalty. I have performed in many pit orchestras for musicals, almost too many to list here and they also include many Canadian Premieres.The next show I will be performing in will be 'Joseph & the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat' with York Region's Steppin' Out Theatrical Productions in November at the Richmondhill Centre for the Performing Arts.
