Interlochen Brass Festival

Young musicians in grades 6–12 are invited to join Interlochen Arts Academy’s faculty and students for our Brass & Percussion Festival on Saturday, April 5. During these events, students will sit in on master classes with renowned guest artists, meet Arts Academy faculty, and watch incredible performances.

Families seeking convenient lodging to make the most of this experience are welcome to book a stay at our on-campus hotel, however virtual attendance options are available if you are not able to travel to campus.

Guest Artists Include:

• Dr. Annie Bosler, Los Angeles freelance horn player, former faculty at the Colburn School for Performing Arts
• Elmer Churampi, Fourth Trumpet, Utility Trumpet, and Graham & Brenda Gardner Chair at the Dallas Symphony Orchestra
• David L. Jackson, Professor of Trombone at the University of Michigan School of Music
• Alan Baer, Principal Tuba at the New York Philharmonic
• Nancy Zeltsman, Professor of Marimba and Chamber Music at Boston Conservatory at Berklee and Berklee College of Music
