Other Details: SOLD - NEW OWNER NOW ENJOYING THIS FINE HORN -Not blessed with a natural high horn embouchure, the high B and C were not assured on my Conn 8D. Playing the Paxman Academy, however, I can reach C#, D, D#, and even an occasional E! This is not a specialist horn, but is simply more responsive and easier to play than most competitive brands and it doesn't cost $10,000 plus. It is a full double Geyer design. Boston horn instructor and freelance artist Michael Bellofatto recently played it and said it is a very fine instrument, and "very responsive". It features an adjustable pinky hook and an adjustable (fourth) change valve position. It also has a factory installed water key for quick release of condensation from the lead pipe. It is free blowing with a great five octave range and sound projection. Valves are quick and solid with great compression. This horn has been used in performance of both the Firebird and the Mahler #1. It Plays as beautifully as it looks.Call or text me at 915-433-9104
