Other Details: Need a high horn? Not blessed with a natural high horn embouchure, the high B and C were not assured on my Conn 8D. Playing the Paxman Academy, however, I can reach C#, D, D#, and even an occasional E! This horn is more responsive and easier to play than most competitive brands and it doesn't cost $10,000 plus. It is a full double Geyer design. The horn features an adjustable pinky hook and an adjustable change valve position. It also has a factory installed water key for quick release of condensation from the lead pipe. It is very free blowing with a great five octave range and sound projection. Valves are quick and solid with great compression. This horn has been used in performance of both the Firebird and the Mahler #1. I have owned it for less than 2 years. Ideal horn for students or adults rediscovering their musical roots! Don't miss this incredible value. Plays as beautifully as it looks. If this sounds like something you could use, call or text me at 915-433-9104.
