Competition Rules and Regulations
All competitors must be registered for the full week of IHS 58.
Competition registration deadline is May 20, 2026. Competitors can complete the registration form linked below.
Competition is free and open to all players born on January 1, 1996 or later.
Individual members are responsible for their own travel, room and board, IHS 58 registration, etc.
The host has the right to cancel the competition at any time if the minimum number of 3 participants is not reached.
An accompanist will be provided, if needed. Competitors may bring their own accompanist. Piano will be tuned to A=442.
The IHS 58 Natural Horn Competition Committee has the right to cancel a winner at no cost to IHS 58 if the winner fails to abide by all Competition Rules and Regulations.
Competition Judges reserve the right to not declare a winner.
Winner will receive a performance in masterclass with a Natural Horn Featured Artist or Natural Horn specialist and a performance at the Awards Concert on Saturday, July 11, 2026 (may be changed).
