Next December 2023, from the 28th to the 30th, the III International Horn Congress of Guadassuar - CITGUAD - will be held, where more than 100 people will meet: artists of international renown of different nationalities, teachers, luthiers, exhibitors of instruments and beginners, amateurs and professional horn players. All this in a place with great horn referent as it is Guadassuar.

The Congress will include warm-ups, recitals, workshops, master classes from baroque music to contemporary and jazz music, activities for children, concerts, lectures, jazz night, instrument exhibitions and the opportunity to meet old friends and make new ones.

El próximo diciembre de 2023, del 28 al 30, el III Congreso Internacional de Trompas Guadassuar - CITGUAD - se celebrará, donde se reunirán más de 100 personas: artistas de renombre internacional de diferentes nacionalidades, profesores, luthiers, expositores de instrumentos y trompistas principiantes, aficionados y profesionales. Todo ello en un lugar que es un gran referente de la trompa como es Guadassuar.

El Congreso incluirá calentamientos, recitales, talleres, clases magistrales desde música barroca hasta música contemporánea y jazz, actividades para niños, conciertos, conferencias, noche de jazz, exhibiciones de instrumentos y la oportunidad de encontrar viejos amigos y hacer otros nuevos.

The 2024 Southeast Horn Workshop will be at the University of Georgia, February 23-25, hosted by Dr. Jean Martin-Williams, Dr. James Naigus and the UGA Horn Studio

The second congress of the ”Association des Cornistes de Suisse Romande” will take place in Geneva on March 2 and 3, 2024. For the occasion, the Place-Neuve Music Conservatory will be dedicated to the horn for the weekend.

With the participation of horn teachers from schools and colleges in French-speaking Switzerland, horn players from Geneva professional orchestras, as well as Chilean horn player Matias Piñeira (solo horn from the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra), participants will take part in horns, workshops around the alphorn and hunting horn, master classes, concerts etc.

Two news pieces for horns will be commissioned to the composers Alexandre Mastrangelo and Christophe Sturzenegger.

The 2024 Mid-South Horn Workshop will be held at Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, OK, March 22-24, 2024. Hosted by Lanette Lopez Compton.

The 2024 Northwest Horn Symposium be be April 12-14 at Washington State University, Martin King hosting.
