Teaching Experience
35+ years.
Lecturer in Horn 1988-1998 main horn teacher at Queensland Conservatorium of Music. 1999-2004 some teaching there.
2006 and onwards teaching pre-tertiary including teaching beginners. Wrote a beginner program for band (2018) and have many videos with duets for beginner students as a useful supplement to their work with a teacher.
Playing Experience
40+ years including Principal Horn, Queensland Philharmonic Orchestra (1987-2000). Considerable experience on natural horn as well as symphonic and opera/ballet repertoire, chamber music and have performed a hand full of concertos with orchestra.
Co-curator of SydneyMicroFest - a celebration of microtonal music.
