Teaching Experience
Susan has taught horn privately since 1983 and has taught all levels successfully. Her current studio of horn and piano students includes 50 players. She was on the adjunct faculty at Wayne State University from 1988-93 and from 1999-2001. Susan also teaches theory, and is a conductor and composer as well! She has worked with horn students as young as 10, and as old as 79.

Hong Kong Philharmonic, Spoleto Festival (Italy), Columbus Symphony, Detroit Symphony, Michigan Opera Theatre Orchestra, Detroit Opera, New American Chamber Orchestra, Chicago Civic Orchestra, Flint Symphony, Evansville Philharmonic, Detroit Chamber Winds and Strings, Chamber Music at the Scarab Club, Detroit Brass Society, Pentacle Brass. Freelance work includes performances with Adele, Josh Groban, Mannheim Steamroller, The 3 Tenors, Il VOLO, Amy Grant, Aretha Franklin, and The Who.
