Barbara Chinworth (1939-2022) was a beloved IHS member and symposium attendee for many years. She gathered hornists from all walks of life to play together, enjoy fellowship, and support each other in the mutual love of the horn. After Barbara passed away, Friends of Barbara Chinworth created and designated the Barbara Chinworth Project in her memory to provide funds specifically for amateur horn players and enthusiasts.
Awards from the fund may be used for:
- helping people attend horn days, workshops, or symposiums (travel, registration)
- providing annual IHS membership
- Other uses (specify and give details)

You can contribute to the fund by donating to the IHS on this website or by sending a check to the executive director. In either case, designate the donation for the Barbara Chinworth Project.
