Introducing the Horn Lesson Opportunity (HLO) Program, created by students for students!
This program enables young musicians to grow their skills and their passion for the horn by building relationships with industry professionals and educators. Selected students with financial restrictions will take lessons with experienced professionals on the IHS Advisory Council. We hope to provide access beyond financial and geographic barriers in order for students to progress with their musical studies.
The newly re-formed Student Advisory Council, comprised of passionate students from around the world, joined together to start this program in 2024 after seeing the need for equal lesson opportunity. Through their work with the IHS, they hope to give back to the student horn community.
