Oscar Sala's warm is the newest item in the IHS Online Music Sales.
Oscar Sala is the principal hornist in the Orchestra of the City of Granada. He has assembled this comprehensive warm-up, complete with photographs and instructions for each of exercises. He includes two versions of the warm up, a full extended version and a shorter reduced version.

Composition Contest For Brass Septet
First Prize - $2000; Second Prize - $1000; Third Prize - $500
All works will be PLAYED and judged by the BCMW coaching staff.
Winners' works will be performed during the July 2013 Brass Chamber Music Workshop in Arcata, California. Amateur musicians will perform the music in a workshop format. Qualifying submissions will be added to the Workshop Library.

New Items in Online Music Sales

Two new pieces by David Lamb have been added to the IHS Online Music Sales.
In the words of the composer:
"Flourishes is a set of five duets composed in 1957 for the fine natural horn Carl Geyer made for me. This version is transposed for modern valve horns, but the pieces can still be played on natural horns of the appropriate keys."
"First Person Singular is a set of eight lyrical etudes designed for a traveling horn player who needs some tuneful material for basic maintenance while on the road."
